The ‘World Cafe’ event brings together those working in Scotland’s peacebuilding sector for networking, sharing, and reflection. The event will also highlight activities run by and in partnership with the SPP in its first 6 months of establishment, and share plans and opportunities to work with the SPP in the future.
The ‘World Cafe’ format brings together facilitated, small-group discussions that encourage open conversation, sharing of ideas, and collective reflection through several short rounds of exchange around focused questions. Members and partners are invited to share information about their work through short presentations, table discussions, or a poster/ stall.
Other logistical information
The location for the event is the McLaren Stuart Room, Old College, University of Edinburgh, Southbridge, EH8 9YL. When you enter the Quad, take the set of stairs on your right leading toward a glass door. The McLaren Stuart Room is on your left before you enter through the glass door.
If you are intending to bring a poster or other promotional material but have not been in touch with the team about this, please arrive early between 9:45-10am to set up.
